➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

@Ursuline Chick your grigri must be powerful. I just found a leghorn on the nest and she got fluffy! I put her on the roost and hopes she stays there. If she doesn't, I'll have to ask Kiki for some horse eggs.

@KikisGirls did you ever find out who is caring for the horse chickens? Are they sharing horse eggs? I haven't had a leghorn stay committed, but I'm sure it could happen. See if she sits all day tomorrow. I just keep pushing them off the nest.

No one cares for the horse chickens (that I have seen)

They seem to be doing just fine though.
There are plenty of horses crummies around for them to eat.

I haven't been to check for eggs yet this week.:eek:Mex doesn't have time to egg hunt while he is there.

I'll be there tomorrow though.

Now that I sit here and think, I'm planning on 6 EEs in a month. Hmmm. What are the chances??? I might have messed up.
How many birds do you have right now?
I can't remember.

You are doing meaties now too?

Well, here's hoping! Bless us, St. Brigid.

Then, I'll have to get her to adopt day olds from the feed store when they arrive. I've learned so much here. I'll have to redo the coop. The little ones can't get into the nesting boxes.

If only, today was a WILD day. Not in a good way, but I've lived so far.
