IV is sick for the second time this year. First time she got oral baytril and it was traumatizing for everyone. She now puffs and blackbeards every time we touch her.
She's going back to the vet today and we're requesting injectable doxycycline.

LOVE the pics of Barry and Dakota. They are precious. So sorry to hear about IV though. Hope the vet can help and that you don't have to deal with oral medications again.

They didn't help lol. Apparently injectable doxycycline is a specialized medication.. that's news to me but oh well, they didn't charge us for the visit.
Now we have to make the three hour round trip to see our old reptile specialist in houston.

I'm sorry Prairie. All I can say is that the pain will get less raw with time. They always leave us too soon.

I know that no words can really help, but you have my heart felt sympathy. I know this is heart breaking, and I am so so sorry that he was taken from you so soon.

In brighter, happier news, we had someone ask us to set a dozen eggs to hatch! So I’m starting that tonight.

Decided to switch today just incase they got out the bucket nest while I'm at work Tomorrow and couldn't get back in and get chilled. The switch was a success
