I've had eggs similar to these, especially the top one, but i don't have a Welsummer and I am not sure which girl lays these eggs. They only show up once in a while and the color is raised. Are your's raised?

My egg's purple spots are raised!What do you mean by raised? The shell itself isn't a smooth shell. If you think along paint type, it isn't a satin or gloss finish. It's more rough like a flat finish. The eggs with the more grayish spots is rougher than the more purply one. The one with the purple spots is a bit smoother. Does that make sense? lol!

My Columbian Wyandottes are sweet. The Silver-Laced Blacks are good layers and not horrible- they just want to be left alone. They're sure pretty, though.I haven't heard anyone have nice things to say about Wyandottes.
I got cream. They should be hatched by the end of May. Yippeeeee!YES!!!!! This is awesome. Did you get gold or cream? Not that it matters, they are all awesome. When will they arrive? You are going to LOVE them.
