So sorry that you are having to deal with this. The last I knew, USPS was not honoring their priority mail guarantees. I haven't seen any 3 day packages make it in less than 4 days. I got a guaranteed one day delivery in 5 days.I'm Fuming Mad at the USPS!
I mailed baby chicks priority mail Monday morning from Meeker Ok to O'Neill Nebraska with assured three day delivery by 3 pm Wednesday.
The babies made it to OKC by Monday night and then were sent to San Antonio, Texas where they sat until 11:27 pm Tuesday night.
WHY Go South when the destination is North?
The chicks are somewhere "In Transit" having not made it to the man in O'Neill this afternoon. It is 10:30 pm Wednesday night!
We have checked with USPS tracking and the receiver has called the 1-800 number to no avail!
Fortunately I packed the newly hatched chicks with GrowGel, a half orange, a half apple and a reptile heater. Hopefully there will be live babies when the package is found and delivered.
This is my first time to mail babies out of state.
Yes, I have filed a complaint with USPS, but there is no guarantee that I will be contacted.

Howdy ho nutto. My 'tude has been worse.@Tesumph - attitude check! How is yours? The puppy program progressing positively?
Bunnies@Tesumph how are you doing? How did your lizard palace come out?
Well we traded the ducks for 2 bunniesWe weren’t fond of the Pekins, I did keep my Muscovy. She is quite independent and loves the chickens.
They are moving to their hutch when I get home

They are just pets. I forget the breeds they are, but they should stay small.Howdy ho nutto. My 'tude has been worse.
Puppy is up in the air. It is a long and convoluted story but I will try to summarize:
litter #1 I decided that I really didn't like the sire and didn't want to compromise. Litter #2 I was in love with the parents but they were just born today and there is only two males (who are both spoken for). Potential litter #3 is being bred in the fall.
Right now we are trying to decide if we want a girl from litter #2 or to wait for litter #3. I don't care about genitals-- I just want a lovebug Velcro dog and I'm wary of getting another daddy's girl diva. (coughTheiacough)
Litter #3 has nice potential parents, but no guarantees and a long time to wait. I'm uncomfortable with getting a puppy right in the middle/end of the fall semester.
So yea, that's the short version. It's a whole thing.
How are you and yours?
Bunnieshow sweet. I like the eyeliner. Just pets? or...
Lizard palace is almost done, actually. Another week or so for the lights to arrive and the sanitized branches to dry out and she'll be moving in. I've been working on it every day and I'm pretty damn proud of myself.
The ginger does not interfere because we are trying to stay married for at least a few more years. It's better this way.
I'll get a pic tomorrow.
