We actually had a freeze for a couple of days in a row this past "winter", and we always have road construction that never seems to fix anything, as well as 90% humidity. and temps in the 90's last week. It's not even June yet.

We have 3 seasons, Frozen (doesn't last long), Dusty (most of the summer), and Mud (any time it's not frozen or dusty)....

Mud is probably just as bad as snow.

the same way you do at the beach, at least you probably don't have to worry about ants, or coons who run down a tree and take your fried chicken while on a picnic in the park. (we actually saw this happen to some poor people who were having a picnic with a bucket of chicken, the raccoon thought he was invited as well and took a piece of chicken from the bucket!) It wasn't real funny at the time to the people it happened to.

DD and I went on a girls weekend when she was young to Biloxi beach, and I was holding up a french fry for the seagulls, when the man next to us said, Lady I wouldn't do that, because the seagulls will grab the french fries out of the little girls mouth!

Don't set it on the ground. I live alone, there are no picnics here. Where I water is beautifully green right now.
