It is unreal how many times i have seen GOOD stuff for free on my local Craigslist.
IF only it was safe to "meet" strangers to pick up free things.
Now way in the world I could trust the loons on my Craigslist.

I don't blame you. I'm one of the nuts on Craigslist. Got some neat stuff! Sometimes you have to be quick. Unfortunately, most activity is on the West side and I'm an hour away. Through traffic after work, maybe longer.

You guys are so handy with this building stuff.

I'm starting to feel inspired.

I see a lot of those play forts on Craigslist and one day, one will be mine! I just need to find out how long the top beam is and haul it 1.5 hours across Houston in heavy traffic. All the good stuff is on the West side. Us poor east siders don't give that stuff away.

I'm with you on meeting weirdos but a lot of cities now have internet meet up spots. Obviously you can't pick up a playset like that but it is nice there is the safe option.
