Real dogs by size ...

Ruger was raised with a cat ... not sure if he thought he was a cat, or the cat thought he was a dog ... The cat used to give him a run for his money when it came to playing lol. I have videos of Ruger whining because the cat had him pinned down.
All of my real dogs are still terrified of the faker.

Thank you :) . I had one growing up, she was the best dog. Passed away due to lyme disease in her kidneys at 14 years old (I was 12 then). I'd wanted one ever since, and I will always have at least one, preferably 2 :D Getting Ember was the best thing for Ruger, they're the perfect playmates. They just haven't quite figured out farm animals yet, having been "Residential Neighborhood Dogs" until Easter of this year.
I love big dogs. I've had two rottweilers that were from rescue shelters that were the best dogs ever. So smart, calm and gentle. My last rescue dog for local animal control shelter is -- I think -- a shepard-lab mix. She's a smart dog, but is really excitable. She was 3 years old when we got her and the shelter thought she had been used as a puppy machine by unethical breeders. She was terrified of everything and huddled inside her crate for the first few months, before she blossomed into a wonderful, playful dog. This is her sacked out on a camping trip.

She's beautiful :love. And she does have a Shepherd/Lab look to her.
A friend of mine's Rottie just had 16 puppies this morning  I love a Rottweiler as well. I looked at some when I was picking out a puppy - but just had to get myself a Shepherd again. Both of mine are nuts lol. I attribute SOME of it to still being in "puppy-mode". Ruger went through obedience courses, but Ember is a bad influence on him. I really do need to spend more time training both of them regularly, Emmy is a quick learner and I know she is capable, just need to be more consistent with both. They expel most of their energy playing, and running laps in the lot they have on the farm.

Absolutely nothing getting past her lol
Nothing at all. Especially not snacks, right? ;) She's a pretty guard dog though! :love

We also have a red heeler, an American Bulldog/Boxer mix, and 17 year old lab/chow mix on the farm - all 3 of those are the fiance's dogs.
