Someday I will by my own hatching balut eggs...
Then try to hatch them with NO preparation in a thrown together incubator while posting every 15 minutes about how you have no idea what to do. Careful, you will lose an eye.
I once went in trying to find a swivel plant hook and when they didn't have such an item, had to confess that I didn't have a hanging plant by a window at all, I have a chicken spinning the feeder until it unscrews and falls on the floor. The guy laughed and said he thought he'd heard it all but he was wrong. And then he showed me hardware meant for a dog tie out that would work great.
Good thinking outside the box! I will go into a store and ask for an item. They don't have it, so I will explain what I wanted it for. Half the time the answer is "it not supposed to be used for that?!?" and the other half the time "have you thought about using this instead?" No, but it may work better. Then we spend an hour swapping stories.
@KikisGirls have you considered:
1. using a bigger hose (vacuum cleaner hose that you aren't using this week?) or making one from toilet paper and paper towel cores and duck tape (get it???)
2. Laying towels on the walls along with the sponges to increase humidity? Use duck tape to keep them in place.
3. A moist heat heating pad? May be too hot inside the insulated box. If so, open the lid a bit.
4. Starting a comedy tour? With a whole host of supporting members.
