➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

yes :wee
wild baby rabbits usually are very hard to raise anyway
I agree, they would never adapt to living in a hutch. I have a buuny living under the loft and it went inside a small dog cage that had some seed in it. It panicked when it saw me approach and couldn't find it's way out. I was glad it didn't have a heart attack. We thought the fox got it a few days ago and were relieved to see it again, stretched out in the sun totally relaxed.:D

Go buy one or two bales of hay too.
The Northerners have straw and hay.
I still haven't figured out the difference.
We buy what we call hay down here.
I have been using it..plus lawn clipping for two years and it works perfectly.
You live in Texas and don’t know the difference between straw and hay?
Hehe kidding. Hay is food, straw isn’t. Straw also tends to mat and mold more quickly.

I’ll ask my in-laws if they have some spare old bedding from the ranch I can throw in there.

Yep...mom is close by.
She lives there already!
The babies will be fine.
Just don't step on one!

Can we buy straw down here?
I have never seen it!

I suppose it could be the mother, but why didn't she make her nest under the loft where it's protected. It's a mystery to me how those babys survived in the planter - exposed to torrential downpours and days of extreme heat recently!

Yes, all the listed menu items are easily available nearby.:)
