➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Love it too. My great aunt & uncle wintered in Barbados. Nothing beats going to the fish stands and having them prepare freshly caught fish. Ugliest fish, but tastes really good.
We came across some people who had been fishing at the beach in Barbados and they had a bunch of flying fish in a bucket and a little wood fire with a cooking grate over it. My kids (who are outgoing by nature) saw them cooking and asked if they could try some. The people seemed thrilled to share a bite and WOW was that good fish! They said they clean the fish and then rinse it in seawater which also seasons it.

@KikisGirls you could start a movement- Save ALL The Baluts.
I'm trying to convince the hubby to start hatching balut. Here says once we get more land, I can do whatever, but until then I need to remember that we're not even suppose to have chickens... and at one point I had 20. He has no faith that I can do anything without being excessive. True.
I want to stomp my feet and tell him I'm an adult and can do whatever I damn well please, but I must remind myself that a grown woman in her 30's doesn't behave this way.
Farm animals bring out my inner gen X angst, I suppose.
