➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Hi! I remember stumbling upon your thread when my parents went to buy balut for consumption. After candling them all I found one with movement and decided to try to hatch it. For my specific balut duck, from internal peak to external it took about 20hrs. And a little after another 24 hours it hatched. Unfortunately, I was at work and didn't get to see it pop out of its egg :hit

Thanks...
I am wondering how many days you kept the egg in your incubator though.
Before it actually hatched.

It was a total of 9 days. First two days it wasn't incubated and it was kept around a source of body heat. My incubator in the beginning was 30% humidity and 92 degrees. i panicked thinking the air cell was getting so big so I made some adjustments on day 3 to bring up the humidity to 50%. But towards day 8 of incubation I was able to bring up the humidity to 70%. My temperature fluctuated daily from 98-102 degrees throughout the whole process. Also it didn't help that I was very curious and candled it twice everyday until one day I picked it up and saw it had an external pip.
