For real they look like they are trying to be real woodpeckers.
It's quite funny looking because they aren't actually cracking the shell.
They both better figure out they aren't doing it right.

Can you imagine how confusing it is to be a baby bird?
Suddenly you’re conscious of being stuffed in a tiny sphere with your limbs all contorted and tangled up, and you’re just trying to figure out how to breathe, find which way is up, and break through the impenetrable barrier around you..

I’m getting kinda claustrophobic.

Yes and no.
These will be the first ducks I hatch.
They will not be growing up here at my house.
So since I am not keeping them they won't really be mine.
