➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Balut stink. Very sulferesque. They salt them then suck on the open and of the egg to get the liquid out. Then break the shell a little more to get the rest.
Seriously taterin stink!
You have eaten one?

The apostrophe, when properly used, has its advantages as well. For instance,

"That's really gross. Who would suck out a half-incubated egg's insides? It's amazing what people come up with when they're starving, but more incredible that they keep eating it when they aren't!"

I'm sorry, but the 'yech' factor of eating those eggs is something I cannot believe I'll ever overcome. Sounds a lot cheaper than buying hatching eggs online, though.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I swoon when I see an artistically used colon or a well-timed apostrophe too... but nothing compares to the glory, the impression, and the, er, 'dash' of an em dash.

Ok I think the sponges are working well.

What I am going to need to do though is figure out how to fix this rack thing or replace it.
Let me go get a pic....the baby duckies could easily fall off to it the way it is now.
BRB
Humidity goes up to 70% during hatch.
