I have a cookbook with a recipe for making hundred year eggs if anyone wants to DIY.

Oh, wait. Nope, it's a recipe for using them. You dice up the nasty things, put them in a greased bowl, pour the same number of freshly beaten eggs over the gross ones, and steam until set. Yum.

I think it would be an issue if you made them eat them. Or didn't offer other eggs.... those are soooooo nasty.
