➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

I'm wondering if I can reuse parts from my crappy cheapo incubators to make a homemade incubator. I think I can at least reuse the turners.
That would is easiest way.I really like the stc-1000 temp control over cheap incubator controls.Amazon sells Temp controller stc-1000 $13 .I usually get fan out of old computer

I love the facts page—it's so informative! For instance, this little chestnut:

"Research conducted by award-winning U.S. scientist Nathan Zohner concluded that roughly 86 percent of the population supports a ban on dihydrogen monoxide. Although his results are preliminary, Zohner believes people need to pay closer attention to the information presented to them regarding Dihydrogen Monoxide. He adds that if more people knew the truth about DHMO then studies like the one he conducted would not be necessary."
Bookmarked—to read when I have a working you know what.

I'm scared to even ask.

My school inexplicably had sudden increased levels of CO on Thursday.,
High enough, in fact, to cause 5 kids to faint and a few to vomit.
20 minutes later we were evacuated and school was cancelled for the day.
Most everyone had just about everything still inside the building. We were not allowed to retrieve our belongings.

Throughout the day 64 people were taken to hospital by ambulance, and over 100 more were treated on scene and as walk-ins.

School was cancelled Friday due to still high levels of CO. We still couldn't get our things.

Got our things Saturday. School resumed today, with the cause of the leak still unknown.
