Awesome.Haven’t read posts after this (yet!) so if anyone has already said it, I apologize.
That Omaha steaks cooler is the best for homemade incubators! That’s what I built mine with.
I am going to go steal it now!

Can't I macgyver the Omaha thing into a real bator?Isn't @Cryss suggesting a real bator and the 'ghetto bator' for the test? ... not 2 ghetto bators?
Get ur quail bator now and use it!![]()
NO I don't think I would live if I HAD to eat eggs S and W.eating not an option, eh?
i'm gonna get reported for this![]()
Yes it can but you will need some parts ... and more than 5 minutes lead time! Can't I macgyver the Omaha thing into a real bator?
I am now having second thoughts about buying a real bator.
This macyvering is too much fun!
I am 100% the man is going to have a constant supply of balutties.Yes it can but you will need some parts ... and more than 5 minutes lead time!![]()
I need to back up real quick.
The other day when we discussed starting quail I was informed that the Mex's grandma had a real bator that she wanted to give me.
What bator is it?
This real bator is suppose to arrive today.
I am afraid this real bator is the worse possible one that could be bought...so for now this real bator doesn't count.
I did mean a brand new bator BUT this is your experiment. If you can cobble together a really good bator to equal a bought bator then why not? Myself, I would want a bought (meaning "proven") control group bator. I also know I couldn't have built your ghetto bator on the fly like you did! Can't I macgyver the Omaha thing into a real bator?
