Yeah, I never really thought Balut would be at a Mexican market, that's just all we have other than a box standard American chain grocery store. I am however going to the city Monday... hmm...

We were already $2500 in. MRI would have added another $2k. Surgery would have been another 5 or 6k.

I'm so sorry to hear this. Went down that road with our Great Dane several years ago. Heartbreaking. Lost my old man 'Cash' just after Christmas, he was our Tennessee Walker. Again, so sorry for your loss.

Sorry about your dog chicken canoe.

I also saw balut at a flea market in California. I’ve only tried to hatch the ones that were in incubators, the only place that had them kept warm were the egg ranch. The ducklings were very skittish. At the egg ranch they were dated 14 days and up, I think oldest was 21 days. I forgot to ask, what are your settings now, did the temp go past 97? I think anything under 100 they will hatch late.

Thursday I will hopefully be setting duck balut...maybe chicken. Depends on what I see when I get to the store with my flashlight.

My grandfather was on duty there too, in the marines. I never met him but learned that he liked to eat a bit of anything so he probably did
