➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Quail LOL thats how I got my new risk bator lady bought it to do quail eggs then said to hell with it I don't have the time works good for me tho got a new bator brand spanking new 25 chick brooder and a feed and waterer LOL LOVE sec hand. I think it's better in the uk tho looking for hatching eggs don't have so much distance to travel compared to the USA. would love some domonique (I bet that ain't spelled right) but can't find anyone here in the UK that does them.
Dominique is an American breed. It's funny to me thst people always want what is difficult to get. You can probably find all sorts of breeds we'd drool over here and you want the sort of chickens my grandparents kept.

I have just one Dominique. When I get to where I will be able to breed (future home) that is my breed of choice.:love

The risk bator seems soild the temp on all of the thermometers seem only off by 1. Some odd c but the bator humidity thing and the one inside the bator seem quit close in humidity % so how do u quickly calibrate the hydrometer thingy? And yes I know humidity is high trying to reduce it lol.

My Dom didn't make it to adulthood but she wasn't huge. I'd think Orpington or Brahma or Marans before Dominique for big chickens.
