She/he kinda looks like Crazy Lady's long nosed dog things!Southerners don't say 'ugly', they say 'poor little thing'.

I don't know what to think. Precious, but strange.
My hens never could count, but they did seem to know the difference between a real eggs and a fake egg. I had a broody sitting on 2 ceramic eggs, as I was going to have her foster chicks rather then hatch them out. Every day she would immediately move nest to wherever the other hens were laying real eggs. Only after I cleaned the real eggs out would she reluctantly return to her fake nest. She took 4 chicks with no problem tho, when the time came, so she didn't seem overly troubled about getting more chicks than eggs.My current mama hen definitely noticed when I gave her new eggs. I waited till she took her daily break, then took away the 4 medium sized tan eggs she had been sitting on and replaced them with the 10 large blue eggs I had bought. Poor thing finished her break and went back into her little broody coop. Stopped dead in her tracks in front of her nest and stared at it. Turned around and ran back down her ramp into the run. Ran around in the run raising a fuss for a few minutes then went back in the house to stare at the eggs some more. In the end though she couldn’t resisted the siren call of a full nest. Climbed in and behaved beautifully all through the the incubation and hatch.
