I know it's so nerve racking letting them out for the first time, I've done it too. I think I just let the bubs out with the parents and they stick to their parents, keep it short say 5-10 minutes then call them in for food (make sure they are hungry before being let out) the babies learn to use the trap door by following the parents through. Do that a few times and they get the hang of going back into the loft by themselves
