I was worried.
I'm very worried about you "releasing" them.

It's incredibly difficult to "release" a homing pigeon because they always come back home lol

I see millions (probably not millions) but a lot of lost pigeons every day here.
They are everywhere.

I know it's so nerve racking letting them out for the first time, I've done it too. I think I just let the bubs out with the parents and they stick to their parents, keep it short say 5-10 minutes then call them in for food (make sure they are hungry before being let out) the babies learn to use the trap door by following the parents through. Do that a few times and they get the hang of going back into the loft by themselves

These are my favourite girls, they are best friends and fly together away from the rest of the flock, they've also had some amazing escapes from hawks, perigrines and eagles. Two very clever homers

@Cyprus these are partially incubated eggs aren't they? How far along do they look to be? Are you seeing brining and or movement?
