This is what i think may cause problems for the hatchability of ballut, i doubt they are turned correctly before you get them.n. Research has shown that inadequate turning of the egg in the first two thirds of incubation can lead to stunting in the development of the chorio-allantoic membrane. This would reduce the membrane's ability to provide adequate gas and water molecule exchange to meet the growing chicks needs and lead to a late death at approx the third week of incubation.
So cute
I didn't know that!@biophiliac
I forgot to tag in the photo above and we all know that if I edit that post with a tag it won't work.

Well the broody hatch yesterday was 50% live this morning, 3 turkey and 3 chicken.. out of:
6 turkey eggs: 2 brown and 2 yellow hatched.. one yellow died the first day.. one yellow zipped halfway and died. So far all the deaths and not hatching have been yellows.
6 cx mix chicken eggs: one yellow and 2 blk or barred (not sure yet), one egg is missing..
I put the unhatched turkey and 2 chicken under another broody incase they are slow hatchers, no external pipps so I don't have much hope.
