Sorry for your loss, he does look like one in a million! X2 re pet rats, I shared my place with 8 over a couple of years. They live such short lives.

Mine were great! Low drama, lots of eggs.

I got my first two rats from petsmart. Terrible idea as you might know, they were both chronically sick their whole lives. But one of them, Ink, she’s the reason I’m in love with them as pets. I’m not even joking, she had the personality of a tiny little dog. She was an amazing animal, just full of love. I never had a rat quite like her again out of the 9 I owned, but I’d still get them again.
The short life spans are why I stopped owning them. It’s literally like owning a little dog for 2 years and then watching it die. Having to explain to someone why you’re so upset over a rat was just insult to injury.

Yea I guess. Still, a culture that regularly eats balut might benefit from knowing how to candle.

I'm already too distracted to work. This will be a great distraction from my distractions. There is also a wildfire burning within eyesight of my house as of yesterday afternoon. No evacuations yet... We've got air support, so hopefully things will be under control soon. It's *only* at 50 acres currently, but the weather forecast is not in our favor.

The best you can do is buddy tape it to the next toe over. Put a bit of gauze or a cotton ball between the two toes before you tape them to each other.
