Research. I've done loads of research on livestock and poultry breeds. Like I said before I'm green at everything except breed ID. And some random breed and genetic knowledge. Did I mention my dreams to become a homesteader? Lol

Yes and when it hears my other chicks it chirps too so I'm not too worried right now. And plus since it has no air sac it would take longer from the external pip

Muscovy are a different species than other ducks. They can breed with ducks but the offspring cannot reproduce. Exactly like donkey +horse = sterile mule. You probably already knew that but jic thought I'd throw it out there.

regular ducks average 28 days to hatch. Muscovy average 35 days. Calls around 26 days.

Today makes 12 days that I have had the eggs.
