I don't know how you could possibly tell if they're "white layer" offspring or Pekin. I had presumed white layer because the seller is producing eggs so wouldn't they get a commercial layer type? But, it's also possible the egg supplier is selling both balut and Pekin ducklings (popular for meat use, right?)So I have Pekin ducks?

Does brownish yellow duckling mean white duck?
Pekins end up solid white but the white layers can have some tan feathers. They both look like yours as ducklings in the pictures I'm seeing.Does brownish yellow duckling mean white duck?
