I opened the shell up without ripping the membrane and all the veins are gone there is the one blob of something that I see and have no clue what it is. I can't see the head. Should I open up the membrane. It looks a little liquidy in there..

I'd stop. That blob is probably an unabsorbed sac. Can you get a photo?

No! No draining liquid you nut. They are suppose to absorb the liquid.

All caught up for now, does anyone know anybody who would like to have either a big beautiful French Blue Copper Marans cockerel, or lovely French Black Copper Marans cockerels in the 3 or 4 hour drive from New Orleans, I will deliver. At least one is trying to crow and I really want them all to have good, loving homes. Thanks to all who read this and think about it. They were hatched between April 29 and June 2. Have posted on the Louisiana site to no avail. They are really beautiful birds and have not been overly handled, so should not be people aggressive as Roosters.

10 ideal pullets and 2 nn roos and i asked for extra peanuts on there little added note section, but i dont know if they even read those?
