I got 2 EE chicks a few months ago and my yellow one ended up being a white pullet.
The other chipmunk colored one I got was a roo. A very sweet roo with a loud ass crow!

I told hubby I was mentally prepared for one to die and one to be a rooster.. any more and I would get really upset.
0 deaths would be great too.

Sometime in 2016, I didn’t look closely. I don’t really want to dish out antibiotics if she’s just a weak chick in general though.
We’ll see what tomorrow looks like, she could be totally fine after all.

Eeeek 2016, I would avoid just keep giving the nutridrench and see. Our Brahma baby was acting the same, minus the umbilical, and it’s way better this morning. Fingers crossed!

@jwyles He is around Thibodaux , we just take a ride and pick up, he has also been willing to split my dozen eggs between Blacks and blues and still gives extra eggs, although he is not shipping. We have been dealing with him for a few years, when we need to replace hens, have bought pullets and eggs form him. Last batch of eggs came from him. All are beautiful and none of the hatchlings had any problems. Good luck

I took a quick look at his website and his birds are beautiful. Looks like nice dark eggs too.
