I'm going to attempt the jam and chutney and I'm also going to dehydrate some. This could be several epic failures. I'm probably going to start with jam hopefully tomorrow. We shall see. :fl

You could can it & then in a few months you can bring us some figgy pudding. ;)

:lau I think the last time I pushed a lawn mover was when I was about 7 months pregnant with the Mini.
He has been begging for a push mower for years.
A while back we had one here that was being fixed and he used it to now the whole year.
I thought he was going to die for a minute but he did it.
:love

:lau I bet that was a sight! I CANNOT wait to justify a riding mower. I was eyeballing zero turns yesterday wondering if the hubby would notice if I snuck that in.:gig

:fl
Take pictures!!!! In case it turns out good!
We can make a BYC cookbook.
Wait...I think there might already be one.
We can make another one.

Oh I'm going to (especially since the ideas came from byc and a couple folks in this thread). and if it flops I'll let y'all know too so you can laugh at me. :barnie

Hurrah, a book discussion! I've been a bookworm since I hatched.
Favorite genre? :pop
I lost my physical book reading passion for a while (thanks internet/college) and recently found my love for it again.

I’m reading this sci-fi horror right now called “The Troop” about a boyscout troop that gets infected with a biologically engineered tapeworm.
It’s gnarly. I love it.

Hm, just about anything, but I really enjoy non-fiction books that take a common topic and flip it on its head to look at it from a whole new angle. "Freakonomics" and its companions are some of my current favourites.
