➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

So I took my girls to get their hair jazzed up with feather extensions today for vacation and I had to get in on the action. Now I really look like a chicken lady!:lau Also DD1 got the all clear from the specialist we were told to visit (quick out of town trip for that). Figs are done dehydrating but I'm not a fan. Going to freeze them and see if I can't rehydrate when I want to use them. Oh and... I also like the show Bones & the movie Lovely Bones. I think Saoirse Ronan is great.
I didn't even know feather extensions were a thing.

That looks pretty neat, not gonna lie. How are they attached? Do they just fall out later or something?
Because she is coming this way to play at Sea World.
Rain would ruin that trip.
:D
Bc I have vacation.
Ah right! I forgot.
You’re gonna have a blast. :D The sea lions are my favorite.

They were trendy years ago and kind of made a come back this year especially with the younger kids, but there are no rules that say moms can't get in on the action, right?
Absolutely.
The Mini convinced me to color his hair at the beginning of summer.
I knew I shouldn't have done it when I did it.
It isn't growing out quick enough.

We are so excited, thank you! And the extensions are attached by a thick hard ring. You run a small chunk of hair through it then insert the ends of the feathers. Once you have them situated how you want, you clamp the ring down tight with a little tool. Very simple. They will eventually come out on their own or I can just have them removed when I get ready, but they can be washed & styled like your hair bc they are real feathers.

Bring on the loonies! We can cram them into that silly phone booth and send them off to Who-ville (not the beloved Dr. Seuss Whoville, but a much more nefarious place). It'll be a glorious send off.
If you had actually watched it you'd know said phone booth is bigger on the inside. And it's a police box. :tongue

Who-ville wool: lifted! Isn't the Who-less world a beautiful place!?
Actually, the Daleks took over around the time of the 2nd world war because the Doctor couldn't save the Earth from them if he didn't exist. So no, not beautiful.

Absolutely.

Oh no! My youngest wanted color too but when I convinced her to do this instead bc I was afraid the color wouldn't be out in time for school.
