Have to agree. I'd take British camp over 99.9% of all anime any day.

Depends on how big the lotto is. If you just won 100k you have to behave differently to save some of that money versus winning 100mil. Personally I'd pay off all my bills. If I won crazy money, I'd instantly go on a world cruise so people can forget I exist. Half the money would go into a mixture of savings and investments. I would buy a decent amount of land but not so much I wouldn't be able to make the property taxes. I'd probably go on a major vacation once or twice a year. I'd give some to my immediate family but probably not tell anyone out of state that I won, I would just make it seem like I got a good job.

I enjoy some older anime. I love Nausicaa and Princess Mononoke I'm just not really into the animation style, in general.

I’m with you on that one. Unfortunately because of Japan’s over-sexualized hyperstimulated culture, modern anime is basically synonymous with cringe.

I have found one or two that I don’t mind. They tend to be insanely violent if they are not all about short girls with huge boobs, though.

We always said we would tell my family DH got a bunch of money from a death in the family and tell his family it was from a death in my family. LOL Then we could blame each other for not giving money to who ever we thought were just Pikers.

Yeah, I tend towards watching the uber violent as well. What was that one on NF like a minute ago? That one kinda cracked me up. Devilman Crybaby. That was it.
I also like the idea behind Berserk, but It's so gnarly I can't stomach much at once.

Haha, thank you. No jail for me.. yet. I tend to dislike sharing my age online now because it’s hard to separate age from maturity.

For the record, not all anime is bad. MOST of it is but there is some gems. Japan has some very talented horror writers, you just have to find them.
But yes, I’m pretty sure there are quite a few “weeaboos” in that thread.

I'm fond of some of it. I find that it's just like cartoons some are decent, some are crap, but if you're not the intended audience there's no point in critiquing it. I like the ones aimed at boys better but I'm the same way with American cartoons too. I don't care for any of the adult cartoons like King of the Hill, Simpsons, South Park.
The voices are easier on the ear in their original language with subtitles verses the English voice overs.
