➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

With fire ant bites, as soon as you are bitten run the wound under hot water(as hot as you can stand it without burning yourself) this breaks down their venom. This keeps it from itching and if you're fast enough, will even keep it from forming a bump.
I did not know this.
Is this a Mex grandma trick?

I don't actually know if we are going to be able to see much during the incubation periods...but come hatch time it will be crazy wild I am sure.

Damn straight, it bites me it will die, i will see to it! Glad the eggs are coming in!
Congrats on your pretty blue badge too!

I need to decide if I should use the egg turner for the quail eggs or not.
It is not made for quail eggs but they last quail eggs did fit in it but I am not so sure they got rotated enough.

We will need a photo update of this area every few hours you know.
:old
Yea, because the first photo wasn’t a gross enough close-up. Bleh!
I will definitely let you know if my foot falls off overnight.
Check your sheets for a dead spider or bug before you throw them in the washer.
We just changed them and checked, didn’t see anything. It’s probably long gone.
