We lost power again. Hopefully it will kick back in soon. It's been flickering off every once and a while this summer but it usually comes back on in minutes. I hope it's heat related and not an accident since those take longer.

Doctor didn’t know what bit me, as suspected. I have a very slight fever and he said the firmness/heat of the bite wasn’t good. I’ve got a 10 day round of antibiotics and I’m supposed to keep it iced and elevated, but it should be fine.

Make sure you take ALL of your antibiotics and if they say three times a day that means every 8 hours, not 3 times while you are awake! It doesn't matter if you feel better or not, take them ALL!!! Call the Doc if you start to feel funny in any way, that is what he is there for. Hope you feel better soon.

DH and I are going to the Howlin Wolf tonight to hear Casey Fitz and the Night Shift play live. Should be a lot of fun. Really looking forward to a night out on the town listening to a great band.

You are going to love them they are so tiny and cute. You will keep the quail babies, right? I finally broke down and ordered some fertile duck hatching eggs from eBay.

Um...I am not sure yet what I am going to do. I am pretty sure I won't be able to eat these quail that hatch from these eggs...I will probably have to hatch their eggs for the eating.

Ruh roh. We’ve never had our power go out because of the heat, I didn’t even know that was a thing. Basically every thunderstorm a pine tree falls on the lines though. Hope it comes back up soon!
