Having us some hot sausage patty poboys, potato salad (my good kind) and baked beans. I will say the beans are out a can I found some I like it's a steakhouse kind that's real good

@Tesumph Just call. They should put you through to an advice nurse who has access to your files and it shouldn't cost you a dime. Just ask when you should start seeing improvement and what symptoms to watch for to determine if/when you should go in. They might say if your fever gets to X* come in, or if you don't feel any improvement by X time come in. Then you have something concrete to go on.

@KikisGirls I understand that not all mixes are good. We try many. Some we repeat, some never enter our home again. We had a bag of snack mix once, like trail mix, nuts and chocolate and things that we never purchased again and called "tobacco mix" because it tasted like cigarette butts. :sick

Nice!!!!!! :clap Do you have to do anything different when canning tomatoes because of the acid, or is that a myth I read somewhere?
Tomatoes are right on the edge of things that you can water bath can. Because I added a lot of low-acid peppers, and I like to play it safe when it comes to canning, I've got the the cans in my pressure canner now. I process them for 50 minutes (probably overkill, but the extra cooking doesn't seem to hurt it any) at 11 lbs of pressure.
