You know the difference between a yankee and a damn yankee?







A yankee is someone from north of the mason Dixon line that comes south to visit. A damn yankee is one who stays! I’m a damn yankee, married to a native Texan.

Gray squirrel is much tastier and they eat pine cones.

Where I grew up there were no pine cones for them to eat. I liked fox squirrels better.

yes I grew up eating fox squirrels , more meat than the grays we have now... The red tails keep getting the squirrels though... Better squirrels than my poultry

I'm a fake Southerner, I grew up in Florida (Orlando!). It's not that I wouldn't eat squirrel, it's that I don't hunt. I'd buy it to try it out, though, if a grocery store were to sell the meat.
