➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

:barnieIt’s so confusing right now.
I know “they” generally say 6 weeks is best for sexing, but at what age will I really start seeing differences? 4 weeks? Am I already seeing them and I’m in denial?

IMO you are seeing red flags but nothing definitive. I have No idea what the "age" best to tell is and I'm pretty sure it's specific to each bird. Some you'll probably know early with and others maybe not until you get a crow or an egg. When I didn't want a roo, I think I got rid of my suspects at probably around he 6-8 week mark but I'm not 100% sure as their age wasnt really a factor. I just did it when I was convinced enough.

@Noellereagan :frow
Please feel free to use voice-to-text exclusively. I haven’t had a laugh like that in a while. :gig:D
Really, I lost the last 30 min of work just trying to stop laughing. @Noellereagan that was the best text goof ever! I'm a designer so I will think of this often!

I will try and stop guessing for another week.. between trying to finish the run and guessing gender, these babies are driving me crazy..
