➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Venus is one of the most dog-aggressive dogs (she was being given away or sent to the pound at 4 weeks, much too early to be away from her mother and litter mates) I know but if we get dogs as puppies they are her puppies for life. :)

Ahem, Caitlin*. The only right way to spell it. None of this y business, not in my house!
:gigYep, it’s Tesa and Triumph. Unfortunately poor Clementine wasn’t around when that became a thing so she’s left out. Sorry Clem.
Does the Ginger call you Tes?
Do you accidentally call him Ginger?

I almost call the Mex Mex all the time.

Poor tinks! Mine were indoor/ outdoor. We've always kept a doggy door so mine came in and out as they pleased and I didn't have to worry with a litter box or them getting cold at night. It worked out well.

Funny story...My bf from high school had a border collie and one cold morning her dad cranked up his truck and heard a bunch of banging and thumping under the hood... it was that stupid big dog! The dog was fine. Not a scratch or bump to be found, thank goodness, but we laughed so hard at that huge dog jumping out of the hood when he popped it!!! :lau His world had been rocked!:gig
Oh no hahaha! I swear we pulled an angry, puffed up, sleepy eyed Tinks out of car engines so many times. Even with us constantly checking, she was still driven away with TWICE! Once as a kitten to the post office, and another time as an adult to a school event my mom and brothers went to. She was under that hood for 9 hours in the middle of summer before they came back and heard her meowing. I don’t know how she survived.. and she still didn’t learn her lesson. :(

I had a friend who started their car with the cat under the hood. Only, this cat was against the engine belt.. he said it was like an blender exploded under the car, you couldn’t even recognize it was a cat anymore. He spent all day cleaning the garage and never told his daughters what happened.

If I’d been so inclined to do so, Ink would have been the perfect public shoulder rat. That little rat loved everyone and everyone loved her. (yes, even the haters would begrudgingly admit she was cute)

I agree, tabbies are awesome. I’m pretty sure Tinks thought her name was “Mama” because of how many variations of “my chubby Mama Queen” I would call her lol.

My real name is Caitlin but at this point, I respond to Tes better than the actual Tesa, my dog who is half of my namesake.
I've met many a wonderful rat. Comparing them to filthy wild rats is unfair. It's like comparing a dog to a coyote.

Tes is your "online BYC" name... just like mine is "Conan". My name is Brenna, by the way. Nice to meet ya, Caitlin.

LOL nope. Only acquaintances have made that mistake.
Actually, I just told him for the first time that I refer to him as “the Ginger” to my chicken friends. He was playing a video game and took about 15 seconds for it to register before he mumbled “the Ginger... WHAT!” and burst out laughing.
