➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Making a thread now.
The sexing forum isn’t my favorite. I’ve been lurking it nonstop lately and, to be totally blunt, there’s some frequent posters who I often feel are totally wrong but are never corrected and they never explain themselves.
If I get told they’re all boys I will cry.

You’re sick!
To be honest, I agree that many will stake their claims immediately and then be wrong. Then the backpedaling that they do is annoying. I was told 100% that my EE cockerel was a pullet and look how that turned out.

I think the chipmunk EE is a boy. He looks just like my boy did. Your barred rock is a pullet. If it makes you feel any better, I got 3 pullets and 3 cockerels with my chicks and 4 of them were straight run so the odds were already against me.

Ok kinda off topic, but I just weighed my chickens egg and it was 80 something grams. That's considered a jumbo egg and this is her normal sized egg... I've never heard of a chicken laying only jumbo eggs. The egg that I weighed was slightly smaller than her normal eggs though. And keep in mind that this chicken is about five years old.

Yeah, six weeks is when they reach sexual maturity and start laying as well.

Do you know what colors you might have? Or did you just get the pharaoh color
A mix I think.

I never said he was a girl...did I? I don't think I did.

Well, the hens beg to differ. They squawk at first light. Behold the sun! Bringer of warmth! And heat and humidity...

Needed the rain. So over the mosquito hatch. Huge fanged blood suckers! We have the tiger mosquitos that don't bite you, they gnaw on you.

I say we road trip to Kiki's and play with babies! :woot
By the time I made it there they'd be full grown already :(
