Wow! What is going on with the eggs?

Yeah, only one had a tiny external pip, which of course the nasty flies had laid eggs on. I opened it up more to see if the chick was alive and remove the fly eggs. I opened the big end of the other eggs to see if they were alive and all four were a bit dried out and still had veins to absorb. I put baby oil on the membranes and let them sit for a couple hours. First egg finally seemed absorbed, so helped it out of the egg. Which turned out to be too early as the navel was still closing up. Put the chick in a cup back next to the others to absorb. It was around 100 degrees all day so just had them sitting out where I could keep an eye on them. Then it started cooling off so had to take them back to my house to put in my spare incubator. I'm hoping they will be out and fluffy by tomorrow night and I can sneak them under the mom.

Btw are the quail pics taken with the Pixel or do you have a camera too? Cause they're amazing. Especially these new ones. Sorry if you answered that already, think I asked once, but if you answered, I missed it lol
