➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

It was the little snot EE that everyone thought was a roo. I feel horrible but my first thought was relief it wasn’t one of the others. I’ve been sick so hubby put them up last night and let them out late this morning.
He didn’t even see it when we went out together to check on them. He said he counted them last night but not when he let them out this morning.

I don’t know how it got in. We’re trying to find the damn drill battery to try and screw things down more.

In case anyone doesn’t know what a snake kill looks like..

I'm so, so sorry :hugs

Wouldnt a snake have eaten it whole? Did you see the snake? Not saying you're wrong, I guess I'm just wondering what made it obvious it was a snake.
The strangulation is obvious. It’s head and chest are covered in dried saliva. A rat snake will suffocate them but they’re too big to swallow so they end up regurgitating them halfway.
