➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

In case anyone noticed the temp in my cage what I have been doing these last two night is turning off the lamp at night, so they can get used to cooler temps at night.
There is no way in the world it is getting that cool at night outside here but I want them to be adjusted before I put them out.

I am leaving the lamp on and I have moved the thermostat up to closer to 100F now during the day...to get them used to the outside temps before they go out.

I thought for a second that a Chimoomoo was a real breed of cow.
I am not quite awake yet. :th

This is super neat!

Fake cow.

Exactly!

I’d probably be more
Concerned about someone untrained syringe feeding water, too easy to aspirate and would they get enough water?

Exactly this x1000!

Im really loving these natural touches to their setup!

Some try to peck my phone as soon as I put it in the cage to take pictures. They are goofs.View attachment 1509490 View attachment 1509491 View attachment 1509492 View attachment 1509493 View attachment 1509494

They're getting so big!

I did that as a kid, it’s a gateway drug. LOL

:gigTrue but other than I few sewing projects I've not done much of anything crafty in a long time. My husband comes from a very large family and for Christmas each year we have a Cajun Christmas where the men bring 1 man's gifts and the women bring one woman's gift. A couple years ago she had us all make guilts as our gift and we had a quilt swap. I made a rag quilt , bc I'm not exactly awesome at quilting so I started simple, but I've been thinking about making another when I've got more time. It was a very fun learning experience. I even ended up making new bedding and a quilted blanket for my daughter's doll crib!:th

I love this.
I really need to make time to learn how to use my sewing machine.
