Yup. Most of the crew was down in the basement when it was being pulled.

I had no idea what I was going to do for a permanent house. My friend saw the house posted on Facebook (literally minutes after it was posted) and called the lady right away. Went to look at it a couple of hours later and said I'd buy it. That was in March... headache after headache since then, and I'm sure there will be a lot more, but I'm still excited.
I love it. The whole story is just great.

Omg! You're so pretty and I love that hair on you!
Thanks Golden. :love
Too bad hubby likes it longer. :tongue
funny because my biggest goal in life is to be organized...and I only achieve it in my craft room. I have so much stuff but finding it is a task... I grew up loving art and crafts but never had the supplies...so I told the husband unit I would acquire all needed and if a project hit me I would have what was needed ...it has been great....behind my window will be a doorway to another 300sf of space to my actual sewing room where each machine will have a deadacated space... I have 3 machines soon to be 4, i also added a picture I took of my rooster this morning
.
He is such a good boy, he was 1of 7 from dad that passed of lung issues....his brothers all meet the oven....he is half barred rock half buff braman, huge boy, at least 30 inches tall. Here compared to my Maggie 40 pound blue heeler_basenji mix, oh and my find for the weekend, a boye needle finder, set the arrow on the machine you have and poof.....1890's google tells you what needle to use...so cool, wooden cases hold needles and some still have originals
That is just awesome! I hope I have a similar room one day, but for animals or drawing or something. I’d never leave! :gig
But that is a beautiful setup, and I love your roo too. Gorgeous. :)

So I have a question/ conundrum
I had 2 bantam and a silkie go broody in the same box. One of the eggs under them hatched a week ago and the other didn't. I brought that egg in and hatched it in the incubator (the little one that hatched last night). All 3 of broodies are busy mothering the week old.
What are my chances of the new one being accepted? Do I have to wait until tonight to introduce it?

Oh where I do begin.....
My healthy chicks are dead....
My babies have almost all died :hit

Went from happy peepers to dropping dead in less than 3 hours. I got home just in time to watch the second one die on my hand....

I am a wreck. I am so upset that I don't even want to keep chickens anymore. I lost half my volume of birds this summer alone.

I am tossing everything I had in with them and buying new stuff for the last one left.

Like a godsend I just had another local breeder contact me to give me some of his eggs.
