➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

I can NOT believe I am doing this.
If they hatch they hatch...if not so be it.
This is an experiment. I have zero training and am learning as I go.

I was up half the night reading...I don't think one word sunk in.

This morning first thing I did was this:

Next thing I did was go to Walmart. For those of you that don't know, I do NOT go to Walmart, ever, for anything.

I got these:

@Kayla’s Chickens I fixed the video's here so you could watch them if ya want.

Well I have not spoke of my surgery, after a 14year maintain of 150lb weight loss I went in to have the girls reinflated..so far very happy, not dolly Parton size, I look the same as I did with padded pushup bras, but now naruralish
Congrats on the weight loss. I bet the girls look great. :highfive:

I will bleach it.

I've contacted them about it before and it was over a hundred dollars per bird. Not happening.

I have. Do I really NEED to do a necropsy on one of them? I know it is beneficial but wouldn't switching the feed and breeder be enough?
Yes, I would say you really NEED to, given the recent history of unexplained deaths in your flock. Without a doubt I would be looking at fixing your problems on the inside before throwing money at more chicks and eggs.
IMHO bad feed seems like a cop-out, especially if it looked and smelled totally fine. A lot more birds would be keeling over if old feed alone was that deadly.
I am aware.
I probably will not make a thread or article because it may get controversial like my Wh You Shouldn't Raise Incredibly Friendly Chickens one did.
Part of why that was so controversial was because it was locked without any chance for someone to disagree (and it seems a lot of people did not agree) or debate the content any further.

Oh so no one could reply?

What happened to @Glitterchicks? I haven't seen anything from glitter girl lately. Glitter where ya at?
She is probably working...to pay off that couch bill!
Or maybe she has been taking a cooking class?

Yes...Cy made a thread and locked it so no one could reply.
I get the locking of threads for maybe pictures only but you can't really lock a thread after you write up something.
