Catching up....LOL @ that one. Yup...broody. Now wait till that happens with the D'Uccles and you get a blood curdling scream rather than a growl. I really should video mine....she'd make a great Halloween soundtrack. :lau:gig

@jwyles About 3 months, seems to be when they begin to get their real big boy feathers coming in. Although you can see some copper bleed in the baby feathers sometimes too. They start with hackle feathers, breast and back feathers, before wing feathers.

I would love to see that! I went back out to check on her and this time when I tried to touch her she flew off the nest shrieking.... Always has been flighty. She stuck around the vicinity so we'll see what happens.

I can guarantee you that she is alive and well. Unfortunately. Annoyed me several times today. Maybe I'll choke her again in my dreams tonight
