Still catching up from last night. Cracking up about all the shoe stuff. I used to wear heels every day for work. Now I can't stand them, or more accurately, my feet can't stand them. I do like the way they look, but one of the awesome things about aging is that vanity starts to give way to practicality, and you realize you are happier for it.

You would be so sicked out by my crocs. I got them at a second hand store in Colorado for six dollars over a year ago.

How do yours last that long? I have a pair of crocs as my garden and coop shoes. I wear out the soles in about 6 months. My walks are gravel and the coop/garden is about 100 yards uphill from my house, so maybe I'm just really hard on them.

Only have 3 chicks out of my 40 eggs... it’s day 17, but over 24h since the last hatch. Getting nervous...

Can you take a couple out without hurting the humidity too much? I usually get too impatient at this point and start taking out eggs and gently opening the big end. Probably should candle first to see if you can see movement. But my eggs usually end up being quitters or duds I didn't recognize as such when I candled previously. I hope you get more chicks.

Nope, I love my flip flops and wear them almost all year long.

I tell my wife all the time I can spot "cute shoes" blocks away. The closer i get the drunker they look crossing the street. Sometimes it looks like somebody with 2 broke legs trying to cross lol
