➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

I was gonna say maybe you could fix it secretly but why spend money on an animal that isn't yours?
‘Cause sometimes it’s the right thing to do. :idunno I’ve paid out of pocket for tons of strays to be fixed and found them homes myself—the shelters are just too packed.
If they are overly aggressive to me or my animals I call animal control.

Speaking of Brahmas, do you guys find yours to be incredibly quiet and docile? I only have one but I just love her temperament. She is one of the top dogs but never really fights for it and I don't know if I've ever heard her make a noise other than a soft cluck on occasion. She really is a perfect girl for a backyard flock.
I loved my Brahma! I only had one ever. Her name was Dolly and she was awesome. Totally a top dog, but a fair ruler. She did NOT do well in the heat at all and several times I had to dip her in cold water during the summer heat.
I felt rotten when I had to learn about fly strike from her.
I'd like to try them again one day - BLUE ONES!!!

Our girls are quiet except sometimes they get really excited about their eggs. Then of course it’s so hot here that they pant a lot and make a sound that sounds like an old lady laughing! :gig I love them! I hate our Marans so much.

All the flip flops I see in stores now have those horrible plastic toe bits. Those rub my skin off in no time, I don’t know how or why anyone wears them.
They're awful feeling. Like as soon as you put one on your foot. I also don't get it. I'd be raw and bloody within a half hour.

Same. Once had some neighbors that were just awful. Let their cats breed like crazy and never fed them. We would feed them and then once they got comfortable with us (the cousins and I) we would catch them and have them spayed/neutered. We caught as many kittens as we could and rehomed them.
Not only is awful to treat your own animals like that, it's pretty darn inconsiderate when cats carry nasty diseases that can spread pretty easily.
