➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Update on Lindi:
She now has little use of both legs. She was drinking and not eating. She is apparently very attached to my D'Uccle cockerel and vice versa.

Lindi is a spoiled brat. She would not eat anything from her red dish. But she will apparently eat anything that is in a yellow 1Tbsp scoop.

I could. I mean, nobody is using it.
It is alllll hills and thick tree coverage so I'd have to figure out what to do with it.
around here companies clear good trees (pine) for the wood to sell and pay you for it. If it's a big enough tract they will make piles of the branches and stuff for easier burning. We had 37 or so trees taken out of 1/2 acre. It was thick

Good idea. We had Walnut there, too but trespassers came and took it all down to sell.

I want her to waste her time. Delete this post!
Hey now!:rant
Go delete it. She isn't even awake yet. She will never know.
You gotta delete yours too then
Don't give in to her!:barnie

:lau:gig
I'm not saying I won't try to hatch ducklings, but I'm not going to try anything until my seramas hatch. If I don't get a hatch I'll try to get some locally and try again.
Plus, I think I want to try quail next. There's someone in Fort Worth selling hatching eggs for $2.50 a dozen.

Naw, I've got a freezer full. Most of them are from pugs... Find them rolling around the dog parks. They make great ice cubes. Here's looking at you, kid
Whaaaaat!?! What did Wasabi ever do to you?:th IMG_20180821_172820513.jpg

Hmm...so if I can get some partridge/blue partridge hens, and a dark roo, then I can have more pretty colors! 4-5 hens would work for 1 roo for fertility, right?
So...ummm...I just called my local feedstore and they said they can order some for me @ $4/chick...placed an order for a dark brahma roo and 3 blue partridge brahmas. They said the blue partridge usually have 90% hen/10% rooster. :fl They will call me in a few days to let me know if the order will go through or if they are out of them.

:clap I'm very excited about this! I cannot wait to see these babes!
