➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Hubby and dad pried the door open and jimmied something around to unlock it. Good to know the locks are burglar proof.. not. It’s a bit scratched up but whatever.

We just changed the key fob’s battery, supposedly that will fix all my life’s problems.
Smart key cars are NOT supposed to lock keys in the car.. EVER. Why it decided to automatically lock when the door closed is beyond me. Even worse, since the fob was dead and the car was having a meltdown we couldn’t use the outside lock on the doors, even though the key was in range.
What a clusterf***.

I've always been skeptical of those keyless key things!! I'm glad you got into your car. Hopefully a new battery will be the fix and end all future headaches!:fl

You have to go back and read a hilarious group of late night posts when Tes had the munchies and pug was giving instructions on making smashed potatoes
I remember back the potato then smash it and fry it but I missed the crispy word, or read it and it didn't make sense so I kept reading.
I'll go back.

Baked flounder with a garlic butter sauce, cheesy French bread and buttered noodles and a barqs rootbeer
Gotta have that Barqs!!!:drool Whether you eat @sdm111 meal or @Pugsabi meal (both look wonderful.) :drool I was so tired when I got home from work DH kindly made me a cheese sandwich, it was wonderful as I just had to sit in bed and eat it.

Sigh. Today is not my day.

My keys are locked in my car.. which is currently running. The battery is giving out. Almost out of gas.
So much for “smart key,” thanks Nissan. At least we tested it today, I could’ve been stranded at school or a gas station.

Sorry Tes. :hugs I'll see you and raise you.

Bought daughter 4 new tires for her car after she had nail in her tire. OK, it's time.
Battery died in my car on Friday. Found the truck had a flat tire on Friday. Bought new battery after auto store CONFIRMS bad battery. 6 years old, OK.
Saturday Daughter gets internship offer! Yeah!
in Minnesota. That's like Canada, eh? Aww.
It's only for 6 weeks and would look GREAT on resume. Yeah!

Sunday we hide. Read the great Batty vs. Conan debate and contribute to round #2. Batty is great! What wit! What style!
Conan is on point! What piercing thrusts!
What evil lurks in the heart of men?
Find out only half know Cthulhu. I mean, REALLY!?! This is why you need a .45. Save your last bullet...

Monday AM
One of the 4 out of original 8 starting eggs pip. Yeah! Go to work anyway. Aww.
Fix flat. Get NEW tire. Old one is less than 1000 miles. Under warranty. Meh.
Put battery in car & discover car won't start. That means the starter is bad and battery was good. Crap.
Get home and check chicks.
#1 killed by mother? First time mother. Pecked to death.
#2 fluffy little chicky.
#3 shrink wrapped in crushed shell.
#4 pipped.

Bring #3 in. Guessing mother crushed shell after it pipped??? 60% of shell gone. Use oil to loosen dried membrane. Mal positioned with head in wrong end between legs. OK. Help the little one. Get membrane off and doesn't look like finished forming. Crap. Not seeing yolk, but belly ain't right. Return to mother to finish. Hope that one makes it. :fl:fl:fl

Daughter gets official job/internship offer. Start next week. "Are you in Texas right now?!?" So planning what she needs for 6 weeks.
#1 A .45. etc.

What a roller coaster!

Straight chicken talk.

I DON'T WANT TO LOSE ANOTHER CHICK!!!

#1 Pull all 3. Put in brooder with heating pad. Raise with 1.5 week old meat chicks. Swear off broodys. Especially Leghorn broodies.

#2 Leave with Leghorn. Still in coop with flock. Can move all to tractor for 2 weeks until meaties out grow other tractor.

@Ursuline Chick, @KikisGirls @Cyprus Anyone want to posit a position?
