Yes and quail can actually pass Marek's to the eggs.

Yes. I also have something in there that logs the highs and lows. Never reaches 102. There was a power outage the night before last that brought it down to 85.

I think what you should do next put some in your styrofoam and in your wooden. That way you can see if it is the incubator or the eggs.

I went to their place and picked up the eggs.

How are this person's birds?

There are other diseases that are transferred to the egg which can cause low hatch rates.
