(Headsup: possible dumb question ahead.) I just noticed some rust spots in the water dish part of my metal waterer. Isn't this unsafe for the chickens? And if so is there a safe fix for this or do I just replace it?

I might just do that if I have to buy another but hated to just toss it if it were unnecessary. Trying to dig up some way to get the rust off and safely seal it to stop more from forming but I just don't know if it's possible. Maybe I'll find some repurposed use for it. I hate plastic crap though!

She has dry feed which she won't touch.
The slurry is too thick for my ghetto tube.
