Most libraries do not have coffee. Plus the change of location sometimes is nice. Spending ALL of your time in the library is awful.

I think I remember going to the malls when I was little and the first stop was always the pet store to see the animals.
I don't frequent the malls now a days so I am not even sure if they still are around or not but there are "pet stores" EVERYwhere in Houston.
I don't usually visit them.

We have one at our mall. Sometimes I visit, I try not to. Puts me in a sh*tty mood for the rest of the day. Disgusting crowded conditions, sick pets, animals clearly sourced from backyard breeders, even borderline illegal exotics like kinkajous and rare tortoises.. and they do get bought, all the time.

The last time I was there I started grilling the clueless deer-in-headlights young man who was running the register and handing out puppies to people. Hubby ended up dragging me away, not quite sure who he was trying to rescue.
